As well as fronting his own creative projects, Andrew is also an award-winning producer behind many live shows, online projects, and the hist podcast Trusty Hogs.
When it comes to live comedy shows, he has produced hundreds of events under his company Comedy Kerfuffle selling tens of thousands of tickets and welcoming some of the biggest names in comedy such as Milton Jones, Russell Kane, Jen Brister, Omid Djalili, and many more. In addition to many club nights across the country, and one-off fundraiser style events, Andrew is also the co-founder and organiser behind the Bristol Comedy Festival which launched in 2022, selling over 1000 tickets across the one day event.
Away from live comedy, Andrew was also at the forefront of online comedy productions during the 2020/21 lockdowns, producing the award winning online comedy night Gigless. The Zoom/YouTube format was a massive hit, selling hundreds of tickets each week and playing host to huge comedy names like Ed Gamble, Deborrah Frances-White and Nish Kumar. The online show won two awards during its run time: "Best Online Comedy Show" (Joe.co.uk) & "Legend of Lockdown" (Chortle). It soon spawned a live spinoff when clubs reopened, selling out several London shows, and welcoming even bigger names to the Gigless roster like Joe Lycett.
Gigless' success saw Andrew very in-demand during lockdowns, consulting for other online shows and stepping in to help tech & set-up. Over that time, he worked on shows for Sarah Millican, Jason Manford, Komedia, Frog & Bucket Comedy Club, The 99 Club, and corporate shows for companies like Tesco, Domino's, and Oxford University.
Andrew's latest ongoing production credit is as producer on the hit podcast Trusty Hogs with Catherine Bohart & Helen Bauer. The show launched late 2021 and has already amassed over 800k downloads and been nominated for a National Comedy Award by Channel 4. With big name guests like James Acaster and Fern Brady, thousands tune in each week to the chat & agony aunt style show, with a further 700+ subscribing to the show's Patreon page. Live versions of the show regularly sell out, and future 2023 dates will be announced very soon.
The show has recently partnered with Acast to grow the podcast, and is also available, in part, on BBC Sounds, having struck an exciting deal with the national broadcaster!
